Notice is hereby given that the Oconto County Land and Water Resources Committee will hold public hearings on 2/9/2026 on the proposed redistricting of the following properties under the Oconto County Zoning Ordinance.
APPLICATION NO. 1 at 8:30 AM to be held at the Lena Town Hall for Daniel Alsteen & Barbara Kroll, to rezone from Agricultural District to Rural Residential District. Location of the property is in Section 1, T29N, R20E, Town of Lena. 9446 Belgian Rd.
APPLICATION NO. 2 at 9:45 AM to be held at the Northern Zoning office, 15152 Island Lake Rd., for Tyler Hundt, to rezone from Rural Residential District to General Commercial District. The Planning and Zoning Committee, at its discretion may substitute a General Commercial (GC) district rezone petition with the Restricted Commercial (RC) district or Neighborhood Commercial (NC) district based on consistency with the Oconto County Comprehensive Plan and information received during the public hearing. Location of the property is in Section 29, T33N, R16E, Town of Lakewood. 17385 North Rd.
Notice is further given that printed copies of the proposed rezoning’s are available for public inspection in the Zoning Office, Courthouse, Oconto, Wisconsin during regular office hours.
